I think you're reading too much into this one Jess. Elon's always been a tech geek...not a people person. Tech geeks are not great when it comes to interacting with people and 'socialising'. It's like the show - Big Bang Theory. He should just hand Twitter over to someone else and get back to his Tech projects which is what he truly cares about.
